This blog has been established for my own personal writing practice as I work toward the completion of my dissertation at Boston University. I welcome any kind of productive dialogue that might enrich the thinking and being of all readers.

Study Break. Photography has been an interest of mine for some time now, but strictly for the pleasure of seeking and capturing beauty in landscape, design, color, texture, framing- whatever resonates in the moment. Dissertation Journey

Where am I at in this process? Well, it's slow going. I think that I really needed the space to read deeply, to take a bit of the pressure to constantly produce out of the equation for a period of time, especially with school back in full swing. Coursework has been completed, literature review passed, an amazing advisor assigned to keep watch and guide me through the wilderness of academic writing, and now I am working on the first draft of Chapter I; a phenomenological study on what it means to be a music teacher here in the Adirondacks.
